I was hesitant to mix the minifigs with the Old Glory but they turned out alright, especially with 6 stands I've found the eyes generally don't notice the difference.

As far as the Canadians, it was a mix up at first. I wanted them to be Commonwealth Troops at first so I gave them Red, then I looked it up (after the paint dried). I thought they could be 1st Canadian Division with the red patch.Disgruntled Fusilierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10995610821904415726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194255716971534690.post-29513167253585113822014-12-11T14:21:22.347-05:002014-12-11T14:21:22.347-05:00Nice looking work all around, Steve. The SYS figures are ace, especially the Prussians. AS for the Canadians, is that a red divisional patch I see on their battledress sleeves?Mad Padrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00410143683610813671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194255716971534690.post-11820619683017344192014-12-08T17:56:02.314-05:002014-12-08T17:56:02.314-05:00Thank you SRD. They're small to begin with so it's hard to make them "pop" like Old Glory figures.Disgruntled Fusilierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10995610821904415726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194255716971534690.post-54190675740448531202014-12-08T02:48:29.473-05:002014-12-08T02:48:29.473-05:00Great job on the SYW units, beautiful uniforms!Great job on the SYW units, beautiful uniforms!Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08913029478686087197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1194255716971534690.post-85334586767869774172014-12-07T22:07:29.346-05:002014-12-07T22:07:29.346-05:00Nice work on all the figs! As for the colour of Canadian battle dress, I've used some old Polly S "Earth Brown;" It has a slightly more green-ish cast than Vallejo "English Uniform."Grenzer Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07294380876807418037noreply@blogger.com
