Truppenführung Blog! Check It Out!

As Paul of the Man Cave once wrote, "every wargamer should have a friend like Dave."

Well I'm lucky enough to have a good friend in the business.  David F has been my buddy since 2002 and has been a constant source of reasoning, pragmatism, and common sense straight the way through.  I refer all my tough questions to him about the US Army, painting miniatures, raising children and Dachshunds.  So imagine my happiness when I found out he was getting back into the WW2/Modern blogosphere!

David has started a World War II / 20th Century blog appropriately titled "Truppenfuhrung" which was a German Army (Wehrmacht) Field Manual, covering the handling of combined arms formations.

His blog, I believe more to keep him honest than as to show off his kit, already has some of his terrific 15mm Canadians for our upcoming Bolt Action Normandy game, and his most recent post, a deadly trio of late war Stugs are a real treat for the eyes.

I won't spoil the surprise - but rather recommend you click on the link and check them out.  You'll be glad you did!

You can check out my friend David's blog and his magnificent brushwork at the link here:

  1. Thanks for the kindly shout out! Don't think that the great advice, fellowship, inspiration, and brotherhood aren't a two way street.

I'm glad you liked the StuG. ;-)
