Combat power will amount to a little over 1400 points per side, and Ken wants to use airpower!
And frankly, it's about time we came home to play SABRE SQUADRON!
This scenario will be taken straight from the Team Yankee original book and GDW boardgame. Battlefront was nice enough to produce a graphic of it to encourage you to play TY games. I'm using that graphic as the basis for this Sabre Squadron scenario. Might have the Soviets start on the other side of the hill per the book when the battle opens.

This is the scenario I'd like to play, adding about 6" to 1' to each side to accommodate the slightly larger ranges in Sabre Squadron. Let's see if Ivan can run through the gap! |
I love Saber Squadron. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't played Saber Squadron in awhile Neil. So I stumbled through as the US player. The huge game was over in 3 turns if you can believe that.
DeleteThe map looks familiar - I hope TY has results as good as in the book!
ReplyDeleteKind of the opposite of the book. The good guys lose.
DeleteLoving your recent modern posts and very much looking forward to this game.
ReplyDeleteThanks Darren. Post is up - didn't turn out the way I had thought it would.
